Dr. Shannon Munro first developed her interest in Veterinary Medicine while growing up on her family’s fifth-generation ranching operation in Springbank, Alberta. She attained a Baccalaureate Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from the University of Idaho and received the Outstanding Senior Award for the latter. After a brief stint as a research associate with the USDA, she then attended Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2003. Since graduation, Dr. Munro has enjoyed all aspects of companion animal practice, with a special interest in the human-animal bond and how it relates to veterinary medicine. When not at the office, Dr. Munro enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, skiing, and traveling.
